LONDON (Reuters) – Sterling held on to Thursday’s gains, hovering near 2-1/2 year highs, after Britain said a post-Brexit trade with the European Union has been agreed.
The pound was a touch below May 2018 highs at $1.361 following confirmation of the deal, up 0.8% on the day.
